Original and handpainted - subtle metallic paints. The piece appears slightly different in color depending on perspective and ambient lighting conditions. The darker areas are black to soft metal black to blue, the central and intermediate colors look green, blue or teal and the lighter parts blue-green. Iridescent in parts - not obvious unless viewed obliquely, a little ochre and dark, dusky purple
