Caring For Your Soaps

:: Non-boxed bar soaps will arrive in plastic. Please remove them upon arrival and store in a cool, dry place until use. The bar soaps continue to age and breathing (exposure to air) is required. Exposure to excessive heat or humidity causes the soaps to "weep" glycerin and accelerates degradation of the natural product. Lightening of the soap color and/or increasing opacity may result as a result as the soap ages (excess water evaporates)
:: SHELF-LIFE - the soaps are NOT chocked full of preservatives. Only vitamin A is used to preserve the soaps, so they are best used within approximately a year. Keeping them cool and dry is essential to maintaining shelf-life & conversely, exposing to humidity or heat or sun will accelerate degradation of a natural product.
