Backwoods Brook
Al Bergin
This is, or should I say, was one of my favorite fishing holes. To get here would take a hard day of hiking, canoeing and a bit of compass work. Unfortunatly, recent logging roads have opened up this once very isolated area and now you can drive your car to within a few Kms. It breaks my heart, not so much that other people can now access this, but for the garbage, beer bottles and over fishing. This is not good. I completed this painting prior to the destruction and it brings back fond memories of isolation and big trout.
