 Amy Albert was born in Paterson, New Jersey.
She attended Dwight School for Girls, in Englewood, New Jersey and then college in Boston.
After graduating from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and Tufts University in Boston, Amy Albert went on to become a successful Textile and Surface Designer in New York City. Her Design Work resulted in collections of rugs, fabrics for the apparel and home furnishings industry, and tableware.
Although she received immeasurable satisfaction from her work in the Textile and Surface Design Field, Amy never forgot her first love, Oil Painting.
Since moving to the famous artists' town of Woodstock, New York, Amy has focused her creativity on her Fine Art.
Amy's paintings can be found in private collections throughout the country.
