 Hi. I live here in Vermont on a small farm with my wife. I moved here from New York 12 years ago. My X wife and I opened a gift shop were we carried Vermont teddy bears and crafts. I always like to draw and paint and started doing some paintings and selling them in our shop. I also designed our Store sigh and made wooden and metal cut outs of bears,dogs and other animals. I started painting more full time about 6 years ago and got picked up by "Graves Country Folk Art" who promoted my paintings made from vegetables, fruits, eggs,Red and Brown mud etc.NO I am not the the "Red Mud Painter" Of Mississippi. I also won an award for one of my paintings judged by other artist.I do not have any particular style of painting. When inspired by the country life here in Vermont or from my time down south,wild life or farm animals I tend to paint in a folk art style.I paint in a more abstract style were I usually just pick some colors and put them down with a brush, sponge,rag and even my fingers and kind of go with the flow.I feel these are more spiritual paintings as they come from within. I use oil, acrylic and my home mud paint which I make from good old Brown Vermont soil and red Mud Made from the red soil from Arizona a native American Frind Sends me. I like to use the paint made from soil when doing painting that reflect the life style of the working man and women ,farmers, miners, construction workers, historic figures etc.I also make paint from products grown on our small farm. Vegetables, fruits,eggs. Painting is my outlet. It brings me peace. My paintings are in galleries and privet collections.I now have my studio\gallery open on route 7a in East Dorset Vt.

PS There is a southern unimployed folk art Mud painter who has set up Youtube and blogger IDs called "TheArtPolice" the "The Art Police" & "theartpoliceblogger" as well as other Youtube sights.This person has done this just to harass other artist that he is Jellous of including Myself,Tim Hitchcock, Mary Procter,Blacktop,
Woodie Long who has passed away, etc. He changes pictures and dates on his blog inorder to slander others.He accuses artist of copying his work? But he is the one who copies others and has had severial youtube sights and work removed for copyright infringements. As the authorities state,"This is one sad sick person" .
