Candace has a BFA in Fine Art from Bowling Green State University and works by day as a graphic artist at Custom Deco LLC. Her work is very colorful, mostly 2-d, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and oil paintings and drawings, and paper masks.
Her work explores the seven deadly sins, escapism, the romanticism and solitude of the desert southwest, the glory and gore of ancient Mexico, the whimsical and macabre atmosphere of the Day of the Dead festival, the smokey scenes in the goth industrial club, and the serenity of the sunset,water lilies and desert flowers. |
