Let Me introduce myself. I am Miss Chandan Rao. I am a BSc. Graduate. Have also done an Associate Computer Professional Certificate course and an Interior Designer course. I am also an Aroma therapist.
I am from MumBai . My native place is in Karnataka. The villages in which my parents were born are so different yet so beautiful in their own way. So are my Grandparents’ house, different and charming. The landscapes and the waterscapes in these villages are so beautiful. The passage from Mumbai to these villages is also scenically beautiful.
The need to get the beautiful landscapes into my home and to break the concrete landscape view of the city I picked up the brush and tried to capture Nature’s beauty on my canvas and thus created my “String Of Scape” .
Most of my paintings are Acrylic Landscapes. There are few Watercolour and Oil Landscapes too. Material used are Canvas Boards, Canvas Sheets, Paper and Glass.
I have just exhibited my “String Of Scape” at The Circular Hall, Nehru Centre, Mumbai.
So now I am an Artist – though self taught. And am enjoying this status and am intending to string more Scapes. |
