Brunswick street is one of the few terraces of Georgian 'artisan' dwellings to have survived various slum clearance and 'improvement schemes' of the late 19th and 2oth centuries. Until relatively recently such houses, spacious and distinguished though they are by modern standards, were condisdered architecturally unimportant. This view is from the top floor of our Victorian town house in bath.
