Grief (Cimetiere Du Montparnasse)

(Resubmitted after adjustments to add colours to this formerly monochrome piece.) A moving memorial sculpture in the Cimetiere du Monparnasse, opened in 1824 and the resting place of many famous Parisians. Amonst its illustrious dead are Jean Paul Satre and Simone de Beauvoir, Henri Laurens, Chaim Soutine, Brancusi, Dreyfus, Patain, Samuel Beckett, Maupassant, Baudilaire, and Man Ray. It also contains many extraordinary monuments to the memory of less illustrious citizens of Paris, such as this evocative memorial.
