Steel-Glass Sky - Louvre Pyramid #3
David Lewis Baker
An example of the 'ready made' abstract objects that I seek out with my camera. In this case a section of the glass and steel structure in the Louvre Pyramid. In this piece I was also attempting to evoke the feelings of 'film noir' Paris and the Europe of Orson Well's Third Man - the sense of a glowering sky passing over a weak sun expressed in sepia tones. Key Words: Photography Cityscape Paris Architecture Film Noir
