A modernist reinterpretation of the celebrated portrait of Dutchess of Urbino (originally in profile) executed by the Renaissance master Piero della Francesca in 1470 along with that of her husband the Duke of Urbino. This series of works was also inspired by the works of Modiglani, Picasso (blue period) and the surrealist masters.
