Sunrise #1 (Stanton Moor to Matlock)

One of a series of works based on photographs of trees that I took on the same day that I finished the pieces. They were all taken on the high moors around my wife Su's tiny village school on Stanton Moor at around 6.45 am, after I had dropped her off and was returning home. This is a panorama constructed from a view taken south from the edge of Stanton Moor towards the town of Matlock where I live.
