Hedgehog Hill to Chatsworth Moors #1
David Lewis Baker
A view of the back of Hedgehog Hill (Peak Tor) from Stanton Moor, looking across the Derwent Valley to Chatsworth Moors. The whiteness on the fields is early morning frost. (March 2006) Clumps of trees on the tops of the hills are a feature of the Peak District landscape. They are often Beech as in this case, or Silver Birch.
