One of a series of montage works created from photographs of famous gardens with topiary in a Warwickshire country house, taken in late August 2006. The piece has a deliberate surreal quality since the hedges, seen in profile, also resemble rudimentary human heads. Also, by turing the work through 90 degrees to the right a completely surreal image emerges, in the form of a monumental figure - as can be seen in the second version here.
