A photographic piece taken on Michigan Avenue Chicago, in front of Roosevelt Uinversity. This is a poigniant image in the tradition of American social realism. The poster in the window is for an aspirational enrollment campaign for Roosevelt and depicts a black model with his face turned away under the slogan "Just Watch me!" The black youth asleep on the plinth under the poster also has his head turned away and was clearly not aspiring to overcomes his disadvantages and succeed.
