David Lewis Baker
A series of mixed media portrait studies of David Hockney and Andy Warhol, who bore a resemblance to each other, both in looks and dress, in youth and early middle age. This collage study was inspired by Hockney's 'Self Portrait 26th September 1983', but also by his earlier 'Self Portrait 1954' set against newspaper. I have also completed a pop art version of this piece.
