One of a series of deconstructionist pieces based on Leonardo's famous portrait. In this series I am emphasising the endless reproduction of this image as an art and style icon, and also trying to offer a fresh perspective on a work much devalued through over-familiarity. Aside from its deconstructionist elements the piece is chiefly influenced in style by surrealism.
