This is a pencil on paper drawing of my left hand and more. This drawing is not for sale but you can contact me for something similar.
Poet Jim Larwill from Ottawa, Canada, wrote the following beautiful poem inspired by this drawing. You can purchase "Moonflower" - a booklet of five drawings and poems which contains "A Hand" and "Hand", the drawing and the poem.
Hand
Wolf prints and finger tips
I press my hand against
bloom of art and word.
Wolf prints and finger tips
I smell this spiral caress
gentle with timeless touch.
Wolf prints and finger tips
faces layer her petal song,
paws dance as she draws.
Wolf prints and finger tips,
soft crushed tongue of love
totem of our forgotten scar.
Wolf prints and finger tips
prophesy speaks darkness:
night writes out her hand.
Wolf prints and finger tips
I wander free until I find
Moon Flower of my howl.
