I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1966, then painted for a few years. Life took sudden turns and forced me into a full time music career. My art became dormant:)
4 years ago a friend of mine asked me to do a painting for her. That's all I needed to get back into it. And I love it! I converted my 2-door garage into a gallery/atelier and the muses and I have been dancing ever since! I don't take credit for my paintings. They flow through me in the same way the music I write flows through me. When the ego tries to take credit I tell it to take a 'sleeping beauty' nap, so, 100 years from now it won't be a problem.
