Born at Brussels in 1959. My first camera used to be an “Agfa Rapid”. I bought it at the age of ten. Green: you can make a picture; Red: you can’t make a picture.It was quiet simple. At the age of 19, I decided to study photography at the school of Art, St Lucas,Brussel. I obtained my certificate 4 years later. In the early years, my interest was mainly focused on black & white photography. There have been organised several exhibitions in “cultural centers” in Belgium. In the nineties, I changed my point of view, and started to make color pictures, which I’m still doing today. About 4 years ago,for the first time I showed my pictures on the web. And about my camera, for the last 20 years already, I’m always using Canon AE1. |
