"Texture of Time’s" design reminds me of a Clock! Humor me, as I am oft easily amused by the coincidence (clearly, an oxymoron, as there are no coincidences) of such things!
As I worked my way to the outer edge of this piece beginning in its center, I realized its design looked like a ‘Clock’ & tells all time every 1, 5, 10, 15 & 20 minutes, half hour & every hour!
So, I decided it is a ‘Magical Clock’ & it is simply a ‘Timeless Time Piece’ & it can be any time the viewer decides!
This item took many hours to stitch, due to the types of yarns used & its complex design. It was great fun to create!

Screen Size: 6.25 inch Hexagon. Stitch Size: 7 stitches-to-the-inch.
Yarn, Cord & Thread: This was created using a set of ‘Fuzzy Yarns’ & more I bought as a bundle of 18 inch lengths (each kind). The colors are a great contrast & interplayed quite well.
Before this item, I had never made a project with a set of yarns & colors selected by others. The store where I purchased the yarns made the color selection. The metallic blend & curly yarns seen were difficult to use for needlepoint! It tested nt skills, though I succeeded!
Stand: A Brass Display Stand is included & attached to it will be all the ends of the left over yarn in a bundle.
I barely had enough yarns to finish this item! It made me think of a dear friend from long ago, who said, “Always use every piece of fabric & thread to the last inch!” In this case, I certainly was close to many ‘last’ inches! The colors are a great contrast & all interplay quite well.
I love the striking brilliance of these colors from in their variety of purples to blues, maroon, greens, yellow & gold.
Their fabulous textures & how the fuzzy yarns certainly add interest to the piece is amazing. The maroon satin once stitched — look like satin beads. There was not enough of it to include in the swatch of leftover yarns that is part of this item!
