Bright, high contrast colors in Red, White & Blue with Gold & others with an intricate & complex design detail that creates a Masterful Art piece.
It is Timeless in its nature & looks as if its design created a Native American Shield.
As well, it has stitching I developed to achieve the overall design. It has received many raves at shows & many ask if it was made of only seed beads. There are glass seed beads, though to be sure, I carefully stitched it!
Frame: 6 inches Wide x 8 inches High, Custom Painted red-white & metallic blue with golden accents. It has a stand attached to the Frame. Designs in corners depict desert roses & golden ribbons surround the design.
Screen Size: 3 inch square on a diagonal.
Stitch Size: 10 stitches-to-the-inch.
Threads: A great deal of metallic & cotton with stitches that were made up to achieve the details.
Extremely intricate stitching creates a look of ‘seed’ beads throughout. It is enhanced with some glass seed beads & a column on each side that ends with a silver feather.
A strand of red & blue seed beads is overlaid on the center white column. It honors Great Spirit’s protection, as it leads the Spirit Skyward & with the thought, ‘there will be peace between Tribes, Nations & America’s Peoples!’
A Crystal & Gemstone arch forms an additional layer of protection to preserve Native Legends, History & Ancient Beliefs! Beads: Garnets, Carnelian, Aventurine, Rose Quartz, Lapis Lazuli, White Fresh Water Pearls, Rutilated Quartz & Moonstone with goldtone spacers.
Fringe beads on ribbon provide the feel of feathers at bottom. Two strands on either side of red, white & blue beats are ended with silver feathers. A single strand of beads is in the center of the fringe beads.
This item took hundreds hours to complete, due to its intricacies, details & complex stitching. It is set against a pearled white to display ot clearly, making a statement not to be missed in a room when seen.
