HERE'S THE LATEST:
I've got a new exhibit up in the Coffee Beanery at the Franklin Mint Credit Union, so stop by, say hello to James the proprietor, order a cuppa coffee, and browse my display. The dozen pieces include my ICONS prize-winner (see below). The exhibit runs until just before 2nd Saturday in December, at 100 West State Street in Media PA.

MIKE'S PHOTOS AT THE SEASHORE!
If you're headed to Long Beach Island (LBI) NJ any weekend through the holiday season, stop in at FIREFLY, on the Boulevard at 1st Ave in Surf City, NJ (609) 361-7700. You'll find a bunch of my seaside images in various sizes and price ranges, just waiting to decorate your walls or be given as gifts. If at first you don't see them, ask Joanne to show them to you!

OLD BUT GOOD NEWS:
• Yours truly won FIRST PRIZE with TREES & FENCE in SNOW http://www.yessy.com/MikeBerman/pastoral.html?i=7257 pastoral.html in the 2009 "Media ICONS (& Beyond)" photo contest on October 10th! Of 74 entries, 33 were accepted into the show, and two first prizes and two honorable mentions were awarded.
• FOOD, LIVE MUSIC, and ART, ART, ART! What more could you want? Browsers and buyers came out to The Community Arts Center's Fine Arts & Crafts Festival in Rose Tree Park on September 26 & 27, despite the rainy Sunday.
• A severe weather forecast kept all but two exhibitors away on the first day of The Artists' Guild of Delaware County Fine Arts Show in Rose Tree Park on August 22, but all showed their works on the 23rd.
• A rare-for-this-spring beautiful day brought a good crowd to the State Street Fine Art & Craft show in Media on June 7th. No rain date required!

WHAT'S NEW?
I'll post information on future exhibits as they draw nearer. In the meantime, why not come to 2nd SATURDAYS in Media? They happen in all 12 months of the year, and I'll send notices about the ones where you can see my work. In others, you might find me just hanging out, taking snapshots of the goings on, or helping at the Media Arts Council info table. As usual, artists and musicians of all descriptions will be all over the place, virtually all of the eateries and drinkeries(?) will be open, as will many of the unique merchants.
