Hu Wenzhong is a Chinese Canadian writer, poet and Chinese calligrapier. His true name is Hu Xiao-Cong, and his another usual pen name is Mo Nong meaning Ink Farmer. He practiced Chinese calligraphy for nearly four years and he always finds the path in the practice that helped him very much in his creative process. His calligraphy is original contented, contemporary yet classical that withdraws lots of insights from old time masters like Wang Duo. He is a happy person now living in Montreal, Canada. The atmosphere in lower Canada also helped him a lot in his writing and practicing of calligraphy. He enjoys the living in Montreal as well as write about his stories in Chinese and English. Stories, prose and poetry became essential elements in his life, as well as Chinese calligraphy. He is now 38 living with his parents in a suburban cottage in Montreal. |
