BIO: Cynthia's professional life has been devoted to the creative arts. Her award-winning artwork has been exhibited in gallery and museum shows across the country. It is in collections from Hawaii to the east coast and in Canada. She exhibits her art most often in the Los Angeles area where she lives.
In addition to making art, Cynthia currently writes opinion essays for the "Experience Talks" program on KPFK-FM radio in Los Angeles/Santa Barbara.
For most of her career, she wrote television shows for children and family feature films. She had the privilege of working closely with the legendary Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera (creators and producers of "The Flintstones," "The Jetsons," and many more classic cartoons), Stan Lee (creator of the Marvel Comics characters), and Jim Henson (of Muppet fame), writing a variety of shows including “The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show,” “The Smurfs,” and “Fraggle Rock.”

Cynthia is a graduate of the University of Denver with both B.A. and M.A. degrees. She's a member of the Writers Guild of America; The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences; ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers); and the Southern California Women's Caucus for Art.
