This painting is about trusting in God through every dark stormy trial in our lives. It's the perfect first painting with my new name and my new signature on it.
The various colors of dark colored canvases fading into black are different trials that I've passed through in my life. Each canvas is also like a petal in the flower, which represents the blossoming of my life as a whole. The moon represents the fact that God, through the trials of my life has made me into a reflection of Himself. Lastly the cross in the center of the picture and coming up from the crescent moon means that Jesus is at the center of my life as my Lord and my Savior.
The following is what my youngest 26 year old daughter wrote about how she feels about me changing my name to "In God We Trust";
My Father; "In God We Trust
Every masterpiece that this man has sweated over, wept upon and bleed through, to create from the deepest part of his heart and his soul, screams out loud and clear the story of his life; need I say more?... This may seem exaggerated to those, who have never met him, but coming from a person, who has known him my entire life and is close enough to be called one of his "Guardian Angels", that statement is underrated. His art is his diary, the only difference is that he chooses to share it with those, who are interested.
Steve Kreuscher, AKA, "In God We Trust", has been through several trials and tribulations in his life and so far, he has made it through alive. Though, some of those times, his faith was so weak, that he felt like giving up, but yet his faith kept growing stronger.
Taking the couragous stand, of changing his name to "In God We Trust", is not only for himself and for his loved ones, it is for everyone, whose faith has weakened, or was lost somewhere along the way. Steve's new name is now in every aspect of his life, to remind him that God has pulled him through it all; and that He will continue to pull him through it all for the rest of his life, "til his faith is finally crowned in glory. Those, who share the same loving relationship with God that Steve does, will know and will stand with him to "Keep the Faith Alive". by "Daddy's Guardian Angel"
