This was the first colored pencil painting that took me over 250 hours to do. That is insanity, considering that it took both, Van Gogh and Magritte a day to do a paiinting. And believe me I was about to go insane after working on this painting so long. I donated this Painting to be autioned off, in around 1998, to raise money for a poor family, that I knew well. The couple had 3 children of their own and they had just adopted his brothers 4 children also, because his brother and his brothers wife were resently killed in a car accident.
This painting is titled; "The signature of all Things", is a tribute painting to a mystic from a couple of centuries ago, who was thrown out of his country, not even being able to say good-bye to his wife and children first. He was thrown out of his country for writing a very deep and powerful religious book titled "The Signature of all Things".
