From the time I snapped the shutter to the final print I always felt I had participated in a moment in nature that was larger than life, like a soap opera, with a central turmoil and scenarios swirling out from the turmoil. When removing the buildings in the very bottom of the image I left the hotel visible as to me it represents intrigue, sensuality and an upscale stage for living life in the soap opera.
A black and white image accepted to Centerfold 2007 (one of 43 artworks presented in the exhibit out of 750 entries). Printed on acid and lignin free matte paper, matted to 16"x48" using the Epson Ultrachrome K3 inkset.
