This is the first canvas in my "November Maryland" series, after over 20 years I returned to my childhood town Laurel, the "Laurel" series is the first in my "November Maryland".This is a painting of my childhood home...as it is now, I struggled with the fact that what I was painting wasn't really what I thought I was painting, the painting is how the house looks now...not then.., this series is very close to my heart. I look forward to sharing the rest of this series with you.
