My work is a combination of my thoughts and feelings about nature and how nature integrates with life. My pieces symbolize trees, the wind, water and any other natural source that gives me inspiration. My traditional background is in the field of Public Health. After working in hospitals and clinics for 18 years, and raising two daughters, I decided to try out my creative side. Living in Arizona and Colorado, hiking on the Appalachian trail, canoeing, camping and skiing have all played major roles in inspiring me in the creation of these organic pieces. I hope you enjoy the amazing colors and forms of my raku and ceramic pieces. |
