	Fibers Andrea Wilkinson A study in convincingly portraying the light/shadow and texture of folds of fabric. I tacked a purple shirt and a yellow shirt to the wall and had a spotlight shining over them to bring out strong shadows and highlights. Although representing something real that I was observing, the painting has an abstract quality. The combination of purple and yellow (opposites on the color wheel) makes for a unique interaction.
