I like my paintings to show off the characteristics of the wood, so I leave the sides stained wood and on many pieces you can see the wood knots on the surface and sides. The knots and wood grains are intentional and give a uniqueness to each piece. Colors will vary per monitor but yellows are warm and golden toned.
