Maya, a native of Ukraine, has been fascinated with music for as long
as she has been fascinated with color and light. For her they are both
part of existence, and she cannot imagine her life without either of
them. This collection is a beautifully natural fusion of the two most
sensuous forms of expression, exquisitely executed. And for Maya,
art is the most natural way to enhance life. She says: "I'm an artist
because it's my nature and, in a certain way, my instinct; I can't live
the other way.” She believes it is impossible to teach art, because it
is an intangible ability and either exists within the artist or not.
“Jazz & Dance” is a culmination of Maya’s belief in the healing power
of art and music, and the positive energy it transmits. She hopes that
