This unique necklace and earrings set features beautiful translucent prehnite and Tibetan silver beads and components. The freeform prehnite nuggets measuring approx. 18x27mm are faceted and capture and reflect the light beautifully in swirling green colors, reminiscent of jade.
The design is completed by carved Tibetan silver beads and an oversized hook clasp with three rings that will allow sizing within 1 1/2". The overall length of the necklace is 20".
The earrings are simple, meant to just complete the set and not take away from the dramatic effect of the necklace. They feature a single prehnite flat oval (approx. 12x15mm) accented by tiny silver beads, hanging from custom ear wires. The overall length of the earring is 42mm (approx. 1 5/8").

Handcrafted - One of a kind.
With its gorgeous greens and unique translucency, prehnite is a wonderful rare exotic gem, which despite a suitable durability, has only recently gained popularity as a jewelry gemstone. Named after the Dutch mineralogist and early governor of the “Cape of Good Hope” colony, Colonel Hendrik Von Prehn (1733–1785) who discovered it in the Cradock district of the eastern Cape province, South Africa in the early 18th century, prehnite was the first mineral to be named after a person.
History and Lore: Known as the “prediction stone” among spiritual healers, it is believed that prehnite can enhance one’s dreaming and remembrance. Some crystal healers also believe that prehnite’s color and unusual touch are ideal for stress release.
