Shelton (see more by this artist) The pure Spanish silver 8 Reale from the 1622 shipwreck of the "Nuestra Senora de Atoca" weighs 24 grams. The historical jewelry piece is set within a gold bezel with a 3/8" gold bail. The "grade 1" rating on this, which represents the highest degree of preservation, clearly shows the lions of the castles of Castille which were the two powerful regions that united together to form the Kingdom of Spain.
