Both paddle were used only once for VIP guest to the Sarawak Regatta 2008 which concluded last month, amongst those are Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah-Ruler of Brunei, Chief Minister of Sarawak and other ministers and it's up for auctions now!! This was made to be a coincidence to me as the shop was facing the entire Regatta function along the Sarawak River, some other decorations were used to alongside these paddles.
Both paddles are made from Billion / Ironwood, right piece is an antique, whereas the piece on the left(decorated with a Kayan lady wearing the traditional Kumang) is no more than 10years old, both in great condition.
