Please allow 2 business days for this item to be shipped. Please allow 14-21 business days for custom orders, as they are built when ordered. We can modify an existing piece by size, stain/paint, or style. Send us your drawings, photos, and/or ideas, and we can build what you have in mind.
FEATURES:
Suitable for large selection of artist painting surfaces including terylene, cotton, linen and jute canvas. The strips measure 1-5/8" wide by 3/4" deep. The rise of the canvas from the face of the bar is 1/8". Produced under close tolerance with the finest precision equipment. Designed for easy assembly and do not require glue. Precision tongue and groove joints ensure a perfect friction fit and rigid corners every time. These bars can be used with a frame or you can simply hang your painting gallery style by stretching and stapling on the back of the stretcher bar frame.
The regular standard design stretcher bars are our main current product and are made of first quality precision-cut kiln dried fir wood. They have a uniform beaded edge for forming a perfect painting support. The notched edges fit all brands that conform to the standard dimensions of 1-5/8 inch wide and 3/4 inch deep. We recommend use of our cross braces for strips over 36", to maintain frame strength. If you make an order and need braces,please let us know the overall frame size, and we will suggest specifications for braces.
Note: Prices listed in US Dollars. For bars over 36", standard and professional cross braces are recommended for greater strength and stability. The cross braces price are included in the price for size 24x36 and larger. We can also custom build the bars to fit metric measurements or unique sizes.
