This is an orginal acrylic painting on canvas on wooden stretcher bars, with stapled sides painted over, by self taught noted Artist,photographer Kimberly Rowlett. It is varnished for protection. It depicts a sea bird on deep blue background, flying through the remains of weathered wooden wreckage caused by a natural disaster such as a devastating storm.
The bird's shape itself,when looked at at an angle reveals mountains in it's wings,a tree in the middle for the upper body of the bird,with the tail actually a waterfall.
It is a concept of hope and the need to survive. As always I will allow the buyers to frame and mat this item according to their own needs and wishes.
