Beaver skull dance stick

The Beaver skull is mounted on a deer leg and is decorated with beads, turkey feathers and fur. It is carried by the dancer and is part of the Regalia. It is also used as a "Talking Stick" whereas only the person holding it has the right to speak in a tribal meeting or Pow Wow. When finished he passes it to give another the right to speak. Each has his turn to contribute.
