Our Tetse'oih Tutua'a Tommo ( Baby Winter Hat ) is made from very soft deerskin which it Fully lined with rabbit fur, to keep baby's head snug and warm.
We make these hats with a tie in the back to adjust around the neck and leave room for growing...
The top front tie runs through the hat from ear flap to ear flap, making it fully adjustable...and the ear flaps are long to completely keep the cold and wind out of the baby's ears.
The laces are all made from hand cut circle lace, and are weighted with beautiful hand rolled Birch Bark beads, made specially for our leather work.
We do make them custom fitted, and will speak with you about the current measurements of the baby's head, as well as sizing up to be sure it will fit throughout the winter, or maybe two winters.
These hats are perfect for newborns, right up to toddlers.
When you order, please contact us to go over sizing. And please note that the beads will vary, as they are also handcrafted.
