12"x16" Hand painted in acrylic using 8 individual stencils!
Each signed & numbered.
What's great about each piece is that it is drawn, broken into different layers of color (much like a silk screen) and put onto individual sheets of mylar, which are then cut out by hand and painted in acrylic by the artist. This process makes each painting original, because no 2 are alike, while at the same time being reproducible and so, inexpensive. The best of both worlds! I'm sure everybody says this, but the picture doesn't do it justice. The stencil paintings really are beautiful.
Painted on a textured gesso on masonite. This helps the painting last as the masonite doesn't move with the changing humidity.
