The purpose of this piece is to illuminate the capacity of the human mind to err or commit an error. For example, the word recede is spelled " recede ". I have deliberately spelled it " receed " and yet a viewer of this artwork may interpret this word as correct [ recede ]. It exemplifies the capacity for human error cognitively in such routine tragedies as innocent persons being put to death in TEXAS; or false eye witnesses testimony which places a role in convicting an inncoent person.
