This is a one of a kind Amelia Island Angel. Each Angel is as unique as the island they are named for, and as special as your own Guardian Angel. Amelia Island is not only known for her beauty, but also for her history of being one of the oldest cities in the USA. This island is a small piece of Heaven on earth and is located at the most northeast part of Florida.
Each angel is made from an old china plate and stained glass. The dress, sleeves, and wings are cut. Then each pieces is ground smoothed and copper foil is burnished on. Hand cut copper foil is applied for decoration. A glass head is selected to match the plate. After all the pieces are selected and prepared the angel is soldered together and a twisted wire halo is applied.
Each angel takes over an hour to make.
This Angel measures approx 10" x 6.5" and is designed to hang from her halo.
Although she is in her full glory in a window she also can grace any wall, mirror or even a Christmas tree.
