	click images below for alternate view     Cosmic Koi No.2 Roy Vance (see more by this artist) Title: Cosmic Koi No. 2 Created: June 1, 2008 Image size measures 8" x 10" on Canson 140lb coldpress watercolor paper. There is a 1/4" white border...you can choose to cover with a mat or leave with the deckled edge showing. The overall paper size is 8 1/2" x 10 1/2". Acrylic, watercolor & ink with metallic highlights. Final image is coated with a waterbase polycrylic clear semigloss protective finish. This piece is signed on front lower right corner. It also has the date created, title and artist signature on back. This piece was inspired by a Koi pond at the Dallas Arboretum. I really enjoyed watching the fish...swimming gracefully among the exotic water plants. I watched how the sunlight played off their shiny copper colored bodies and danced through the water. They interacted peacefully with each other. It was very relaxing (and somewhat transcendental.) This item will be sent in a mailer with bubblewrap and sandwiched between cardboard. I will be more than happy to combine multiple items to save on shipping. ***PLEASE NOTE...This item is being sold unframed. Picture #2 is for suggested framing ideas...the actual frame not included.
