This whimsical Pear Painting is an Original Folk Art Painting on Wood. The painting measures 11" x 11" and painted on 5/8" thick solid pine.
Colors are warm golden tones of yellow against a dark chocolate background. The pics were taken in sunlight so they show glare on the dark background which does not show in regular lighting. It does however allow you to see the nice knot at the top of the painting.
I like my paintings to show off the characteristics of the wood, I leave the sides stained wood and on many pieces you can see the wood knots on the surface and sides. The knots and wood grains are intentional and give a uniqueness to each piece. Colors will vary according to your monitor. It weighs almost 2 lbs.
No need for framing, ready to hang. Signed on front, signed, dated, titled and numbered on back.
