Petroglyph: Hunters Return
Frederic Bender (see more by this artist)
Genetically, contemporary humans remain virtually identical to our Paleolithic forbears, though – except for a few remnant hunter/foragers – we are now incapable of living as humans evolved – outside, in the wild. In “Petroglyph” I tried meditatively to reach far back in time and deeply within, to express as if on a cave wall the Paleolithic human within each of us.
Acrylic on canvas, varnished. "Petroglyph" is signed and dated (2005) on the back. Framed with black, wood strips.
Unconditional seven-day money-back guarantee, since digital images and monitors can distort colors despite one's best efforts.
