DESCRIPTION: I absolutely love eclectic subjects, pop art and color; And my painting clearly expresses my appreciation for all three.
OK, I hope I am not alone in this thought, but I love simple graphic images with two opposing complimentary colors (like the vibrant and bold primary colors of RED and YELLOW). Now, imagine if these primary colors became animated globs and began to battle-it-out on a canvas in a slow oozing game of plane coverage. The referee, of course, would be BLACK to delineate the boundaries of their domain.
In my mind, "Mini-Merge" is a lively battle between these two complimenting primaries which results in a fun and vibrant artwork. There is plenty of room for interpretation and emotion -- What do you see?
Materials: Acrylic paints and a thick archival gloss varnish on a lightweight, yet rigid, hollow-core wood frame. The 2" deep sides continue the pattern of the painting for that completed continuous gallery wrap look. Unless you desire one, there is no need for a frame. The painting is ready to hang and display with pride.

MOUNTING: As with all my artworks, this piece is ready to hang as soon as received. Heavy duty gallery quality hanging materials are securely attached to the back of the piece. Also, rubber bumper guards are placed on the back of each piece so that they, not the artwork, rest softly on your wall (adds a floating effect as well). Professional picture hanger(s) for drywall applications that will not damage your wall are also included. If your artwork will be hung on a surface other than drywall, then your local hardware, department or picture framing store will have the appropriate wall hanger at a minimal cost.
ABOUT THE PHOTOS: We do our best to take the highest quality photos for your review. However, due to the variation of color calibration from monitor to monitor, the colors are not always consistent and may not be the same as those viewed in person. However, you will find that the photos will not do justice to the true colors, luminosity and textures that this artwork presents in real life.
