My signed, original painting is painted with Japanese Egg Tempera paints. The size is 8"x10" in a metallic-like, bronzy-goldish frame with glass. This is my version of a tree that had been cut down after a forest fire blaze; leaving smoldering embers wafting. There is only one of these. This was difficult to achieve. I make up all that I create! This is copyrighted 2005- 2009. Please bear in mind that Famous Artists: Andrew Wyeth & Paul Cadmus (also profiled in Watercolor Magazine in 1999 Summer Issue) are the true honored artists of today's era who are the Masters at Japenese Egg Tempera Paintings of which yesteryear Japenese Egg Tempera paints were used by all the Great Renaissance Painters! I may do another in the near future on wood panel but I will select perhaps an exotic bird to do! I welcome any questions, comments and/or constuctive criticisms! I am candid & brave enough to state what my paints are, etc., just ask more questions! Have you seen a forest fire today?
"Embers Adrift" ©, what can I say?
Just like: "The Red Breasted Joey-Jay Bird" ©,
Victims of fire spread the word!
Does anybody care, who's to blame?
Fires claim reality, arson sparks flame!
We need to send Congress, a cry,
Before another living thing does die!
Trees, birds and people are living proof!
Who will burn down another roof?
Remember the painting: "Swaying In The Breeze" © ?
Do not risk, any more trees!
Fire roared! This tree was cut down!
Whose face, now bears another frown?
Attention people! We need to get tough!
These arson criminals are hardened rough!
Do we dare, risk losing another tree?
Look around! What do you see?
Fire ravages all! Arson is a crime!
These criminals must do, hard time!
No more excuses for people to hear,
From these arsonists, whom we fear!
Lock them up! Throw away the key,
Long-term punishment, they shouldn't be free!

The artist's statement is a microcosm of every tree on the planet.Perhaps she suggests that if we,(as occupiers of this world),insist upon our present practices,all trees will eventually suffer the same fate.her work is masterly portrayed and well executed

Suggestion on taking pictures of your art:
If possible, go outside. A lightly overcast day is good. Do not take photos in the bright sun. Watch for reflections. Do not use the camera flash. Crop the image so that it eliminates everything but the painting. There are many photo software programs that will allow you to crop the image.

This painting seems very rich with deep colors. One can sense the fire has passed but the essense still lingers ablaze with glowing embers drifting slowly away. Your poetry states what took place & how one must ensure actions that should be taken by all. Your bio says a lot about you wanting to share glory & art! Good job.
