"Rising slowly over the ocean beach, 'three octopuses' dance on the soft summer breeze."
Artist comment: "Every year at the kite festival in Lincoln City, Oregon, new and innovative kites appear. These wonderful octopus kites were a fabulous hit! I photographed them from several vantage points and chose to portray them with oil on canvas from behind, with the ocean as a backdrop. The composition is a triangle shape, one of my favorites. With a cool sky and sea, warm sand, and two little boys enjoying the beach, this painting is altogether bright and cheerful."

Edition length is 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs). Prints on paper are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are shrink wrapped on fome board. Prints on canvas are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are gallery wrapped (the image is extended or mirrored to wrap around the sides of wooden stretcher bars and stapled to the back) so the print can be displayed framed or unframed. Other products are not signed or numbered unless specifically noted.
