"Sarasota"
Lisa Ruggiero (see more by this artist)
This is a hand carved, wooden fish that has been created without using any patterns. The fish has been painted in watercolors, which allows the natural grain/knots to show through, then sealed to protect the colors. Sarasota measures 10 inches in length, 6 inches high, has a brown glass eye, and a metal hanger on the backside. The fish has been named after the town, Sarasota in the state of Florida and is part of the Florida Series of fish. Names once used, will be retired. Signed, dated, and numbered as part of DryRiver Carvings.
